Historical aviation films from the Civil Aviation Historical Society's archive will be shown in our first Film Night for 2017 at the Airways Museum.

TWA Boeing 707 approach to Chicago O'Hare Airport. Shows the crew co-ordination and ATC requirements during the approach to land.

RCAF film that explains the Why, When and How and the effects on the human body of the lack of oxygen under different conditions. Features some footage of Hudson aircraft.

(c.1943)

Second World War USAAF film. A light-hearted lesson on a serious issue. St Peter invites a living instructor outside the Pearly Gates with the object of minimising the entrants through the Gates! Excellent footage of many different service aircraft including Texan, Liberator, Stearman, Airacobra, Stinson L5 and Vultee 'Vibrator'.
